Chef Yasu Tanaka trained in Tokyo before spending three years at the Michelin-starred Azabu in New York, later running Azabu's counter The Den on South Beach. He opened Sushi Yasu Tanaka in the Design District in 2022, then debuted the eight-seat YASU Omakase in January 2026.
