One Michelin star. Chef Alain Verzeroli's vegetable-forward French cuisine served in a serene garden-inspired space. The most approachable Michelin experience in the city, with a superb happy hour bar program and Wednesday jazz sessions.
Only you see this. What you ordered, what you'd order again, the table to ask for.
Le Jardinier ("The Gardener" in French) was created by Michelin-starred Chef Alain Verzeroli and the global hospitality group The Bastion Collection. Verzeroli spent two decades under the mentorship of the late Joel Robuchon, culminating in his role as Culinary Director at the three-Michelin-starred Le Chateau de Joel Robuchon in Ebisu, Tokyo. After 18 years immersed in Japanese culinary culture, Verzeroli stepped out on his own. Le Jardinier Miami opened August 16, 2019, on the first floor of Paradise Plaza in the Miami Design District, alongside its sister restaurant L'Atelier de Joel Robuchon on the upper level. Interior design by Pierre-Yves Rochon encompasses 3,300 square feet with a 34-seat dining counter, table seating, and a lush outdoor garden.
A vegetable-forward French restaurant celebrating seasonality. The menu centers on the highest-quality local vegetables, seasonal ingredients, and fresh herbs (some harvested from an on-site rooftop garden), complemented by wild and sustainable fish, meat, and poultry. Verzeroli's 18-year immersion in Japanese cuisine deeply influences his approach to seasonality and ingredient respect. The ambiance evokes a modern greenhouse: natural light, greenery, and an intimate atmosphere that contrasts with Miami's flashier dining scene.
Le Jardinier Miami holds a Michelin One Star, awarded and retained annually since the Michelin Guide first came to Florida. The Michelin Guide describes the restaurant as celebrating seasonality with dishes that "encapsulate the land's rich offerings on every plate."
The atmosphere is calm and sophisticated, a rare quality in Miami's dining scene, making it particularly suited for business lunches or a quieter dinner. Reservations via OpenTable recommended. The restaurant shares Paradise Plaza with L'Atelier de Joel Robuchon upstairs, making it possible to visit both in one trip. Parking is available through Design District valet services. Miami Spice 2026: lunch $40 and dinner $65, both Tuesday–Sunday. Menu highlights include pan-seared salmon with spinach orzo, roasted chicken, pappardelle with zucchini pesto, and signature desserts.

A Michelin-starred room that doesn't feel precious — botanical light fixtures, garden-toned walls, and generous patio seating make it the most approachable starred restaurant in the city. Chef Alain Verzeroli's vegetable-forward French cooking follows Florida's seasons closely. The Wednesday jazz bar session turns it into one of the better date spots in the Design District.
Wednesday live jazz sessions in the bar area.
