Room 55 earns the speakeasy label: you ascend through the Pelican Hotel to find a 1930s-inspired rooftop bar with Atlantic Ocean views and cocktails that justify the discovery. The Quince Sour with lokum garnish is the kind of detail that a bar this intentional would get right. Open only Wed–Sun, which keeps it from feeling overrun.
