The Story
MILA opened in 2020 on a rooftop at 1636 Meridian Ave in Miami Beach, founded by Gregory Galy and Marine Giron-Galy under Riviera Dining Group. The concept fuses Mediterranean and Japanese cooking into what the team calls "MediterrAsian" cuisine, built around a Cycladic-meets-Wabi-Sabi design across a 13,000-square-foot rooftop.
Known for
MILA is led by chef Michaël Michaelidis, whose career spans kitchens in Cannes, Monaco, Hong Kong, Singapore and Tokyo that have collectively earned 26 Michelin stars. Beyond the main rooftop dining room, the property houses MILA Omakase, a 10-seat sushi counter, MILA Lounge for nightlife, and a members-only MM Club, and the restaurant is also known for its Sunday brunch.

MILA was named the #1 highest-grossing independent restaurant in America on Restaurant Business' 2024 Top 100 Independents list, with more than $51 million in gross food and beverage sales. It is also a Michelin Guide-recommended restaurant.
