Michelin Bib Gourmand. A 1940s house transformed into a sun-drenched Greek Mediterranean bistro. Shaded terrace, fresh mezze, grilled fish, and a wine list that transports you to the Aegean. One of Miami's most beloved neighborhood restaurants.
Only you see this. What you ordered, what you'd order again, the table to ask for.
Mandolin Aegean Bistro opened in December 2009 in a restored 1940s home in the Design District, founded by husband-and-wife team Ahmet Erkaya, born and raised in Izmir, Turkey, and Anastasia Koutsioukis, raised in Canada to Greek immigrant parents. The two built the concept around the coastal cooking of the Aegean, the region joining Greece and Turkey.
The mezze-driven menu leans on traditional Greek and Turkish coastal recipes, including a creamy baked feta with tomato, smoked chili flakes and Turkish peppers served with house-baked bread. The restaurant has held a Michelin Guide Bib Gourmand distinction, recognizing strong cooking at a reasonable price.
Michelin Guide Bib Gourmand.
The draw here is the courtyard: a garden patio shaded by mature trees, with wood tables and an outdoor bar, widely considered one of Miami's most charming outdoor dining spaces. Reservations run through Resy.

A 1940s bungalow with a blue door and whitewashed walls — one of Miami's most beloved outdoor dining experiences and a Michelin Bib Gourmand since 2024. The shaded terrace feels like a Greek island escape in the middle of the Design District, with fresh mezze, grilled whole fish, and a wine list that leans hard into the Aegean. Founded by Ahmet Erkaya and Anastasia Koutsioukis; a neighborhood anchor since 2008.
