The Vibe
Mottai is Brazil's Attivo Group making its U.S. debut at The Plaza, and former Beaker & Gray chef Brian Nasajon is the reason to go. The room — marble-like carved walls, soft lighting — manages to feel grand and intimate at once. The raw and cold preparations are the menu's strongest argument; the sushi counter alone is worth the reservation.
