Bistro Café is a Puerto Rican-rooted brunch spot near the Arsht Center, the Miami outpost of a small chain founded by Isla Verde native Jan Karlo Ruiz, whose family ran a bakery in Aguada for 34 years. The kitchen serves brunch all day, built around Puerto Rican staples reworked with other influences: Peruvian, Greek, Mexican. Coffee comes from Puerto Rico's Caffetero roaster, dressed up with add-ins like caramel or Nutella.
